COMMANDING OFFICER (CO)

Pilot Officer Mohassin Shah BEng MSc FIA CERA RAFAC

Plt Off Shah was commissioned in 2023 having previously been a Cadet Warrant Officer at 1475 and serving as a Civilian Instructor for a number of years. Plt Off Shah was appointed the 13th Commanding Officer of No 1475 (Dulwich) Squadron ATC with effect from 1st July 2024.

Plt Off Shah has an Open University degree in Basic General Engineering. He gained a First Class Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering from Southampton University. He remained at Southampton and gained a Master of Science Degree in Actuarial Science. He was selected for Team GB in Chinese Kickboxing. He won Sports Personality of the Year, and still found time to design a rocket nozzle for the European Space Agency. He is a keen flier and holds a current Private Pilots Licence.

Plt Off Shah is qualified as an Actuary. He is also Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary, which is a global qualification. He is a very keen sportman and in his spare time he enjoys playing social rugby and enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

SQUADRON SENIOR NON COMMISSIONED OFFICER (SNCO)

Sergeant Edina Namutebi RAFAC

Sgt Namutebi has returned to a uniformed role within the Squadron having initially joined the staffing team as a Civilian Instructor, after ageing out as a cadet in 2021. As a cadet she reached the rank of Cadet Warrant Officer.
